Andres began his career in private equity in New York City at WestSphere Capital Partners a Latin American focused PE fund and then joining Nexos Capital Partners a US middle market PE fund. Andres later moved to Miami to join INTL FC Stone’s energy project finance fund, before founding Kratos in 2013. Andres has been focusing on the firm’s general strategic direction and most of the energy project financing’s including combined cycle’s and LNG storage and regasification terminals Andres has a Bachelors in Finance and Business Economics.

Mario Contreras

Business Development, Central America & Caribbean

Mario is a Director at Kratos Capital Partners overseeing the firms business development activities and deal execution for Central America & Caribbean, as well as project management activities for the firms investments in Colombia.

Prior to joining Kratos Capital Partners, Mr. Contreras was responsible for business development and structuring process activities in a forest biomass and solar photovoltaic power generation project. He started his career in Citibank, where he held various senior management positions in the Risk Management, Sales and Marketing divisions. He also was the former Credit Risk Manager for BAC Credomatic in Honduras.
